Congressmen must send their own children to war

When voting to engage the nation in war, members of Congress must agree to send their own children to combat zones.

This would have zero impact in congressional voting because we have not been at war in 50+ years.

Seems like war is motivated not just by congress-critters, but moneyed interests. Why not send the children of the rich to war?
