Amendment XVIII

The first amendment of the Constitution shall not be so construed as to apply to any non natural legally defined person. Beginning on the next date of swearing in for the Congress of the United States, financial contributions to any campaign, party or candidate for election for any federal office shall be limited to no more than one hundred and fifty dollars per individual contributor and no more that five hundred dollars per organizational contributor. The specific provisions for limited contributions shall expire at the end of eighteen years and thereafter the Congress of the United States shall have the power to set contribution limits as it may see fit. Upon ratification of this amendment, the Congress of the United States shall enact legislation to establish rules for the public financing of elections for federal office.
