How do you justify this? Do you have a reason why the current requirement of 35 is invallid?

I justify a 55 minimum age by ASSUMING by then they will be free of the socialist liberal indoctrination from the PUBLIC schools. Make sense?

No, not really. I'd rather have a youthful mind who's at least open to LISTENING to new ideas. Some of us older folks can be a bit stagnant and disengaged from current issues. (I'm 50.)
After we fix congress, maybe we can fix the mess we call public schools, too. :)
But let's fix congess, first.

You don't get it. What you call youthfull new ideas comes from a Government Public School System that teaches that everything good comes from government. That is the failed socialist governments of Europe. By the age of 55, people will be able to shed those beliefs and return the Power to the People. States rights rather than a Centralized Goverment that userps power at every turn.

I got an idea.... if you hate the government and our schools so much why dont you move, one less dinosaur that dont get it sound good to me. BYE

Excuse me but I do get it. Why are the only acceptable schools to big government liberal are public ones. I am for a choice in education. We waste money throwing money at the government schools and they get worse. We are then told we need to throw more money at them. I get it.

The point of this Amendment is to get some one to run for President who thinks about issues and not about how they feel about them. By the age of 55, a lot of the liberal fantasland will have worn off, hopefully.
