Every member of congress shall have served a minimum of 2 years of active service in the military prior to being elected to office.

Our congress is to eager to allow our young people to go to other spots in the world and fight in wars which have no purpose to this nations security. If every member of congress is required to serve at least 2 years of active military service prior to running for office perhaps they would not so blindly vote to send our young men and women to fight. Also, if congress votes to go to war every child of members of congress shall serve at least one rotation in the combat zone.
