Congressional terms of office

The term of office for the House of Representatives shall hereby be set at four years, to run concurrently with the term of office of the President.

(This amendment would go a long ways toward assuring that the Presidency and the House were held by the same party, most of the time, thus moving us just a bit closer toward a parliamentary style of government. It would also cut the number of congressional elections in half, thus (hopefully) getting away from the "permanent campaign" and giving them time to actually get something done.)
