Hold Elections on First Weekend of November

Elections for President, Vice President, Senators and Representatives shall in each state be held on the Saturday and Sunday next following the first Monday in the month of November of the year in which they are to be elected.

This will clearly increase voter participation making our system more democratic.

Weekend elections may be less of a solution then making every presidential election the first wednesday in november, and making it a national holiday. Fewer people would take a long weekend vacation, or a trip that would get in the way of increasing voter attendence.
